What Do We Do?

We provide septic design, installations, inspections and offer remediation services for older septic systems.

Design and Installation

Installation

We install Type 1, 2, and 3 septic systems. Our installations range from simple straightforward gravity-fed systems to more complex sites such as residential sites with constraints, commercial septic systems for hotels, restaurants and boat access only properties around the Shuswap Lake.
Design and Installation

Design and Site Assessment

We perform Site Assessments for new home-builds and for replacement systems. As part of a septic design or to test the suitability of your land for different types of septic systems, we perform a Site Assessment. This process, which was traditionally called a "Perc or Percolation test" involves soil analysis and determining land constraints for your build. We then design and file with the local health authority a system uniquely specialized to your lot and house that meets BC Health Act regulations.

Performance Septic System Inspections

Performance Septic System Inspections

We carry the Private Inspector Residential (P.I.R) designation that allows us to carry out Shuswap septic system inspections for real estate transactions. We work closely with trusted realtors, homeowners and potential buyers.

As our client you can rest assured that you will be well informed of what you are getting into both as a homeowner and as a potential buyer or seller. Faulty septic systems frequently end up costing unsuspecting homeowners thousands of dollars. An uninspected septic system is a huge liability. Having a certified inspection done by a Private Inspector allows for peace of mind and costs a fraction of the repairs or replacement that could be incurred by a faulty system.

Compliance Septic System Inspections

Compliance Septic System Inspections

When the use of a residence or commercial property changes, a Compliance Inspection typically is required by regional or municipal government. Compliance Inspections are similar to a Performance Inspection but include a thorough review of the wastewater flows, occupancy and a more detailed description of the components, specifications, and planning designs. A letter indicating the compliance results typically accompanies the report to the Building Authority or Regional District as a part of the inspection.

Remediation & Maintenance

Remediation & Maintenance

We refurbish tanks, restore clogged pipes, remediate dispersal fields and write maintenance plans. Spend the money now and save thousands later. Our ultimate goal with all of our work is to ensure that our groundwater and surface water is protected.
