F.A.Q.

Frequently asked questions.

Can anyone perform septic inspections?

Only a Private Inspector (P.I.R) can legally provide you with the inspection you will require, giving you legal recourse should human errors be made. Standard procedures for septic system inspections have been created by the industry's governing body-ASTTBC and for a good reason. Ask for it! Without the Private Inspector's proper credentials, you are not protected by law. Home inspections, government certified septic inspections and well inspections are an absolute must for anyone before buying or selling a home. Please scroll through this link to make sure your Private Inspector is registered to ensure that your inspection will be done legally: https://owrp.asttbc.org/rowp-finder/

How much is this going to cost?

Our prices vary from job to job, site to site depending on the choices that our clients make with regards to repair and installation. Due to the nature of the different jobs it is difficult to have set prices. We understand that you do not want to feel as though you are "flushing your money down the toilet", therefore we do our best to make prices fair and competitive. Please contact us for a quote.

Rules, Bylaws and Regulations

New to septic systems? All the rules and regulations surrounding onsite septic systems can seem overwhelming. We will take the time to walk you through all the requirements and will take the paperwork burden off you. Since 2008 we have been working closely with the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) as well as trusted engineers and hydrogeologists in the Shuswap Lake area.
